HEAT STRENGTHENED GLASS
Heat strengthened glass is a heat treated glass , which is twice as strong as ordinary annealed glass. It is a semi - tempered glass , which is made in the same way using the same furnace and the controlled environment of 1200f , except that the cooling process is slow thus creating a lower surface compression.

Applications:
ADVANTAGES : It provides better surface quality when compared to tempered/toughened glass as it is less prone to cosmetic defects potentially incurred during the strengthening process and it is 2 times stronger than annealed glass or float glass.
